Coach Kimsey has over 15 years experience coaching at the high school and collegiate level in the Midwest. Coach Kimsey is the current Head Varsity Coach and Program Director for the Mill Valley Jaguars Lacrosse Club in Shawnee, KS. Prior to that, he served a the head coach at the University of Saint Mary where he coached for 5 years. In 2015 Coach Kimsey was awarded the GRLC Division II Coach of the Year. In 2017 he led the Spires into the NAIA National Tournament, and consistently had the Spires in the top 10 in the NAIA post-season polls during his time at USM. Coach Kimsey is the Director of Lacrosse for Just Play Sports Solutions, and works closely with many NCAA DI, II, III & NAIA coaches around the country.

Coach Leff was a 2x All-Conference selection in the lacrosse hotbed that is Long Island. His love for lacrosse is deep-rooted in his family’s appreciation for the sport. Growing up on Long Island, Dan maintains relationships with many NCAA DI, DII and DIII lacrosse programs across the country. Today Dan is the Assistant Coach at Blue Valley Southwest HS (KS)

Coach Horschig landed in Kansas City in 2015 has has since been involved coaching at the high school level, directing multiple youth organizations and running several events throughout the year.  Coach Horschig has set the benchmark of growing the game of lacrosse through his local organizations and grass root efforts throughout the community.  Currently coach Horschig directors a year round local club called KC Elevate Lacrosse, three youth organizations - Blue Valley, Brookside, United, as well as Midwest Lax Events, a premier tournament series.

David Colbert has served as the Pembroke Hill varsity lacrosse head coach since 2009. David's teams have consistently been one of the top teams in the Kansas City metropolitan area, finishing in second place in the Lacrosse Association of Kansas City championship tournament three straight years, 2012-2014. In 2009, his team won the Missouri State Lacrosse Association championship and followed it up with a trip to the MSLA Final Four in 2010. David currently serves on the LAKC executive board as the rules committee chairman and on the Kansas City Youth Lacrosse Association competition committee.

Coach Petersen is from Denver, Colorado where he was a starting varsity Defender throughout high school and selected starter for the Colorado All-Star Team.  After high school he attended Brigham Young University for Exercise Physiology and is currently an orthopedic Surgeon.  Ken has been coaching youth and high school for the past 10 years.  Currently, Ken is the Head Coach at Blue Valley Southwest and has been Coaching Top Gun for the past few years.  Ken is married to Carolynn, with children Makenna, Mason, Dylan, and Jaxon.

Coach Burke spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Montevallo and captured back-to-back Peach Belt Conference Championships, going 21-11 over two years.  Burke served as a volunteer assistant at Bellarmine University overseeing film, academics, recruiting and development of the defense and faceoff unit.
Coach Burke also pent five seasons at Saint Leo University leading the Lions to a 2018 NCAA-II national championship final appearance
Burke as coached the 2017 and 2018 NCAA leader in shooting percentage and also served as the head caocah and recruiting coordinator for L4 Lacrosse and SweetLax Florida.  Currently Coach Burke is the Head Coach at the NCAA DII William Jewell College in Liberty, MO.

Coach Briones was a team captain and four-year letter winner for Newberry College, helping start the program in 2017
He graduated as the program leader with 43 games played and was a finalist for the 2021 SAC Scholar Athlete of the Year in men's lacrosse.  Coach Briones currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator for NCAA DII William Jewell College.

Billy Dineen was named as the fourth Men's Lacrosse head coach in the Benedictine's history in September of 2022. Dineen joins the Ravens staff after spending time at former conference opponent Midland University.

Dineen was a team captain for the Men's Lacrosse program at the University of St. Mary where he majored in Sport Management. From USM, he moved on to work on his Master's in Sports Management as a graduate assistant for the Men's Lacrosse program at William Penn University. He served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Statesmen before taking over the program at Midland.

While at Midland, Dineen helped grow the Warriors roster, almost doubling it through his recruiting efforts. In making the move to Benedictine, Dineen believes the mission of Benedictine and commitment from the school to Athletics, will be a big asset to his recruiting efforts.

Mike Tyrell will enter his second year at the helm of Saint Mary Men's Lacrosse. Before being named the USM head coach, Mike was the assistant coach for the women's program at Mercer University. Before that, he was the men's and women's assistant at the University of Alabama- Huntsville. In his time at Huntsville, Tyrrell helped coach a team that had the highest-scoring offense in NCAA Women's Division II Lacrosse.

Prior to Huntsville, Tyrrell assisted at his alma mater, the University of Tampa. There, he helped the program reach its second-ever NCAA tournament appearance. On top of that, coach Tyrrell's defensive unit was top ten in the country one year, giving up an average of just 8.26 goals per game. While playing at UT, Mike was named a captain in 2013 and played short-stick defense and attack for the Spartans.

Coach Gustafson has been involved with lacrosse in Kansas City since 2010.  He currently coaches at Pembroke Hill in Kansas City, MO.

Sean Molyneux

Coach Molyneux played collegiately at Benedictine University.  Sean currently coaches for Pembroke Hill Youth in Kansas City.

Coach Petersen played Attack for Blue Valley Southwest and was a highly recruited player in 2021.  Mason started his collegiate career at then NCAA DII  Lindenwood University and is now currently playing at MLCA Utah Valley.

Coach Nelson has been coaching at Blue Valley Youth for 5+ years and has been instrumental in the growth of the game in the Blue Valley area.  Coach Nelson has been coaching the 2029 since the inception of Top Gun's youth program and has a large part to do with the teams success.

Jeremiah Ryden

  Coach Ryden played midfield for K-State University from 92-95. Post College Jeremiah played for various mens teams in the KC area.

  Coach Ryden coached Shawnee Mission Raiders from 2001-2008 as the Assistant Varsity coach and JV head coach.

  Coach Ryden has helped grow the game in KC by bring various camps to the KC area including The Blue Devil Elite with Matt Dannowski, Playmaker Camp with Kyle Harrison, and Wolf Lacrosse with Jordan Wolf.

  In 2007, Jeremiah saw that if the high school game was going to grow, the youth would need to be introduced to the game.  In 2008 Jeremiah founded Blue Valley Lacrosse with 36 players consisting of two teams. Blue Valley has grown to be the largest youth club in the city.

Coach Besheer played defense for the BVSW Timberwolves and then went on to play at NCAA DI Lindenwood University.  He was #1 in the league in Missouri and Kansas with takeaways during both the 2022 and 2023 Spring high school lacrosse seasons. Coach Besheer was also 1st team all league in 2023.

Coach Diaz is our Face-Off Specialist.  He played at Lees Summit West and then collegiately at NCAA D3 Aurora University.  Dom was named to the NACC Second-Team All-Conference Team while starting in all 17 games for the Spartans, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists while leading the team in ground balls with 136.  He was also named a NACC Scholar Athlete.  Currently Coach Diaz directs the United Youth Lacrosse program.

Kevin Grelle
 2033 Coach

Coach Grelle has played lacrosse since third grade and has continued his career at the collegiate level at NCAA DII Rockhurst University. During his senior year of high school, hs was the second-leading goal scorer in the state and lead his team to the state championship where they were runners up.

Coach Francis played club lacrosse for the Wichita Knights (formerly Renegades), Fountain City, the North Texas Outlaws, and MXB Elite.  Braydon currently plays Midfield for NAIA Ottawa University in Ottawa KS.
