    Nick Allegri

    Midwest Top Gun 2032 Coach
    Blue Valley Youth Coach

Nick Allegri doesn’t just coach lacrosse — he’s been part of the fabric of Kansas City lacrosse from the very beginning.

Nick played on Kansas City’s first high school lacrosse team at Rockhurst High School, helping lay the foundation for the sport’s growth in the area. After college, he returned to the game as a coach, spending six years with the Olathe East Lacrosse Club, where he helped lead teams to three state tournament appearances and back-to-back state championships.

After stepping away from the game for a period of time, Nick’s return came in an unexpected way. His wife, Carly, signed him up to help coach his son Dominic’s team in the Blue Valley Lacrosse recreational program — a move that quickly reignited his passion for the sport. What began as a chance to coach his son turned into a full return to lacrosse and a renewed love for teaching the game.

Over the past four years, Nick has coached and developed players across Blue Valley Lacrosse, Midwest Top Gun, and KC Elevate, helping athletes grow through intentional instruction, repetition, and competition.

Coach Allegri’s philosophy is simple: lacrosse is more than a sport — it’s a proving ground. The game teaches players to push through discomfort, build confidence, and discover their potential through effort and mindset. Show up with a positive attitude, work hard, and get comfortable being uncomfortable. When those habits are built consistently, success follows — both on and off the field.goes here
