2. receive an invite to join Team American this Summer

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our evaluations are used to help evaluate which players will be a part of our Top Gun Midwest program and who will receive an invite to join Team America this Summer.

We evaluate players based on four main categories:

Technical - Stick skills with dominant & non-dominant hand, dodging, defensive skills & offensive skills
Tactical - Vision & awareness, position specific knowledge, lacrosse IQ
Physical - Speed, strength, quickness & agility, explosiveness, endurance, toughness
Mental - Coachability, mental fortitude, competitiveness, leadership, attitude, communication

At tryouts, players will be put through various drills, stations and scrimmages to help coaches evaluate based on the criteria listed above. Players can expect to go through the following at tryouts:

Speed & Agility
Stickwork
Position Specific Stations
Competitive Drills
Full Field Scrimmage
